Our school has two E.S.L. teachers who give extra help to children who are new to the country and in need of English instruction. In E.S.L. we do lots of oral language activities and lots of reading and writing. We do interesting activities such as games and cooking to make our learning fun.

For children who are from a language background other than English and have newly arrived in Australia, we can apply for funding through the New Arrivals Program.  This enables us to employ an additional teacher to provide special classes and to work more intensively with these children.
